NMB Rotary’s service project to the Greenville Shriners Hospital for Children was a huge success!!
The child care team does a great service to all the children and family members to help ease their pain and fears before and after medical procedures are done in the hospital. Our club was able to provide the children with a brand new Playstation4 including the virtual reality bundle loaded with several games and movies, provided a brand new flat screen TV with a portable cart so that they can move the Playstation4 from room to room when needed by a child, 5 Kindles with protective cases all loaded with tons of books, movies and educational games.
We were given a tour of the facility where we learned about the dedicated doctors and staff as well as the countless volunteers that make everyday at the Greenville Shriners Hospital for Children a success.
Most importantly we are able to help the children today to be able to ease the fears and discomfort while they are going through their medical procedure and for many other children in the years to come with the educational, fun products we were able to provide.
